

Delft, 22 February 2025– Indelftnesia 2025 successfully brought Indonesia’s vibrant cultural heritage to Delft, captivating an audience of over 450 to 500 attendees. The event venues Freetown, TU Delft, embraced the theme “Folklore: Tracing the Roots” which highlighted the deep cultural narratives passed down through generations. This theme was reflected in every aspect of the event, featured a series of traditional Indonesian dance and a drama musical performance, alongside exhibitions, workshops, and an exciting food bazaar, offering an immersive experience of Indonesia’s rich traditions.
As the largest annual Indonesian cultural event in Delft, Indelftnesia 2025 was proudly organized in partnership with X TU Delft, with generous support from the Indonesian Embassy in The Hague (KBRI Den Haag), the Student Community Fund – TU Delft, and Indomie as the main sponsor. The collaboration enabled a successful and engaging cultural exchange between Indonesian and international communities.

Indelftnesia 2025 also received strong support from media partners IPA NL (Indonesian Professional Association in the Netherlands) and IDN (Indonesian Diaspora Network), further amplifying the event’s reach and impact within the Indonesian and Dutch communities.
With its overwhelming success, Indelftnesia continues to strengthen cultural ties between Indonesia and the Netherlands, leaving attendees with a deeper appreciation of Indonesian heritage. Looking forward, the organizers aim to bring even bigger and more diverse experiences in future editions.
